Weekly Bowls Notice 24 March - 2025



Social Bowls played Wednesday of last week, we had 18 players. Winners were John Waters, Marj South, Peter Love. Runners up were Victor Ng, Di Richter, Elfie Brunner. Monday Social Bowls we had 13 players. Winners were Elfie Brunner, Laurie Judd. Runners up were Paul Clarke, Brad White, Joe Lankester. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.  


Results from games played over the weekend. Major Singles Final. Congratulations to Steve Fuller who has taken out the Major Singles Club Championship, defeating Todd Fuller 25-22 in a very well-played game by both bowlers.  Major Triples. Shane Bowden, Brad Dade, Matt Fletcher defeated Maddy Woodward, Duncan McLean, Paul Bullen 29-18.   Major Triples. Cahill McIntyre, Dale Smith, Lindsay McIntyre defeated Peter Ahoy, Richard Kembrey, Mal Ahoy 21-20, in another closely contested game. The following games have been set down for Saturday 29 March – 9.30am start.  Open Singles. Matt Fletcher plays Chris Moy, marker Mick Pennell. Marj South plays Lindsay McIntyre, marker Lee Robinson. Cahill McIntyre plays Peter Robinson, marker Paul Wadleigh.

Congratulations to the Grade 5 Pennant Teams, they are now in the Regional play-offs on 12 and 13 April to be played in Bingara.

All accredited umpires for the Armidale City Bowling Club – please note that you are now required to have a ‘’Work with Children” certification and this must be done by 1 July, 2025. An Umpires Log Book is also required for re-accreditation as well. You are required to keep your own log book record.
