Weekly Bowls Notice 10 March - 2025

Social Bowls played Wednesday of last week, we had 6 players. No winners or runner-up, just a friendly game of social bowls.   No Social bowls held on Monday due to the weather. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666. 

Results from games played over the weekend. Open Singles. Tom Inman defeated Maddy Woodward 25-8. Minor Pairs. Claude McFayden, Brad White defeated Campbell Schubert, Gary Jackson 30-8 declared on 17^th end. The following games have been set down for Saturday 15 March – 9.00am start. Minor Singles. Sammi Robinson plays Scott Froome, marker Chris Moy.   Sunday 16 March – 9.30am start. Major Singles Semi-Final. Steve Fuller plays Matt Fletcher, marker Lindsay McIntyre. Major Triples. Pam McFayden, Sammi Robinson, Vicky Latham play Kyle Brodbeck, Terry McMillan, Gavin Latham. Open Singles. Chris Moy plays Bruce Wadleigh, marker Peter Robinson. Open Singles. Mal Ahoy plays Mal Turner, marker Maddy Woodward. Minor Singles. Terry Ogilvie plays Reg Battersby, marker Cahill McIntyre.

Round 5 of Pennants this weekend. Grade 1 travel to Gunnedah to play Gunnedah at 10.00am. Grade 5 have the bye. Grade 7 travel to Bendemeer to play Bendemeer at 1.00pm.

All accredited umpires for the Armidale City Bowling Club – please note that you are now required to have a ‘’Work with Children” certification and this must be done by 1 July, 2025. An Umpires Log Book is also required for re-accreditation as well.
