Social Bowls today we had 17 players. Winners were John Waters, Joe Lankester. Runners up were Gary Jackson, Ken House. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Result from games played over the weekend. Open Singles. Duncan McLean defeated Gary Jackson 26-12. Todd Fuller defeated Mark Carey 26-12. Paul Wadleigh defeated Des Schuman 31-23. Col Holden defeated Victor Ng 31-26. Major Singles. Steve Fuller defeated Lindsay McIntyre 25-22 in a very close game. Major Pairs. Graham Bourke, Gavin Latham defeated Brad Dade, Matt Fletcher 20-7. Round 3 of the Open Pennants on Saturday 1 March. Grade 1 play Inverell RSM starting at 1pm. Grade 5 play West Tamworth starting at 1pm and Grade 7 play Kootingal starting at 1pm. All Pennant games are played at the Armidale City Bowling Club. The following games have been set down for Tuesday 25 February – 9.00am start. Major Pairs. Peter Doyle, Steve Fuller play Laurie Judd, Peter Ahoy. Result from today’s game. Congratulations to Laurie Judd and Peter Ahoy defeating Peter Doyle, Steve Fuller 20-18 in the Semi Final. All accredited umpires for the Armidale City Bowling Club – please note that you are now required to have a ‘’Work with Children” certification and this must be done by 1 July, 2025. An Umpires Log Book is also required for re-accreditation as well.

For Grade 1 Pennant Teams, accommodation has been booked at the Wallangulla Motel for the nights of 7 and 8 March. 7 rooms for Friday night and 5 rooms for Saturday night. Approximately $125 per night for a double room. All double rooms will have single beds.
