Weekly Bowls Notice 20 January 2025

Wednesday’s social bowls we had 17 players.   Winners were Victor Ng, Troy Gorton, Joe Lankester. Runners up were Di Richter, Reg Battersby, Ken House. Social Bowls played today; we had 16 players. Winners were Geoff Monley, Des Schuman. Runners up were Noreen Stoddart, Judy Hoenger. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.  

No games were played over the weekend due to the wet weather. No bowls will be scheduled for this coming weekend due to the Australia Day weekend.

Paul Bullen, Todd Fuller play Graham Bourke, Gavin Latham. Major Pairs – 9.30am start. Duncan McLean, Richard Kembrey play Brad Dade, Matt Fletcher. Minor Singles – 9.00am start.  Warren Wilson plays Chris Moy, marker Paul Wadleigh. Sunday 9 February – 9.30am start.   Major Singles. Steve Fuller plays Lindsay McIntyre, marker Paul Bullen. Peter Ahoy plays Matt Fletcher, marker Gavin Latham. Minor Pairs. Cahill McIntyre, Andrew Carey play Warren Wilson, Ken House. 

Don’t forget the Pennant Trial to be held on Saturday 1 February at 10.00am. Dress if mufti. 

A new Travel Policy has been put in place. A copy of this policy is posted inside the door of the Bowls noticeboard. Copies of the Travel Policy is available from the Games Manager at Reception. 

The 100-club run on Friday night was very successful.   Congratulations to the winner, Paul Wadleigh. Andrew Carey will be running this on Friday night 24 January. Numbers will not be reserved for anyone. Roster is now done and is on the Bowls Noticeboard.
