Weekly Bowls Notice 25 March, 2024

Social Bowls today, we had 15 players turn up on a nice sunny Monday afternoon. Winners were Paul Clarke and John Waters. Runners up were Pam McFayden and Malcolm Turner. Social Bowls played every Monday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Due to the Easter weekend, there will be no Social Bowls on Monday 1 April. There will be no games set down for this coming weekend due to the Easter break. Best of luck to Peter Doyle, Graham Bourke, Terry McMillan and Gavin Latham who are in Dubbo competing in the State Men’s Senior Fours starting today, Monday 25 March.

An updated list of Pennant Teams has been posted next to the noticeboard. Please check teams carefully, as changes have been made. The next round of Pennants for Grade 2 will be played Saturday 6 April at home against Inverell RSM. Grade 6, Sunday 7 April at home against Moree. Grade 7, Saturday 6 April at Guyra, against Guyra.

A reminder to all bowlers that it will cost you $5 per event that you have entered in the Club Championships, payable to the Games Manager, Rosie Fuller on the day of play. There are quite a few bowlers who haven’t paid their money yet, please do so as soon as possible. Wishing everyone a Safe and Happy Easter.
