The NEDWBA Open Pairs were played at the Ex-Service’s Club on Saturday and Sunday 24-25 March and 2 teams from City participated, one from Uralla and four from the host Club. The weather was very warm and players took to the shade when they could. Congratulations to the winners of the Open Pairs who were Tyla Miller and Lyn Marshall and commiserations to the runners-up Kim Porter and Colleen Chaffey.  This win makes it a double for Lyn and Tyla having won the District Triples through playing good consistent bowling.  Well done to Ex-Service’s for hosting this competition.  The next round will be the District Singles played at City on April 7-8.

I wish all bowlers a safe and happy Easter, not too many chocolates and enjoy the Carnival at City.
