Results of games played last weekend. Pennants. The number 3s defeated Manilla 69 to 49 and also defeated South Tamworth 65 to 64. The number 7s were defeated by Glen Innes 70 to 40 and were also defeated by Guyra 67 to 42
Games set down for next weekend. Saturday 16th March, 1pm. Pennants. Armidale City No 3s play West Tamworth. Armidale City No 4s play Ex Services. Armidale City No 7s play Barraba. All games are played at City.

One social pairs result, J Swanson, M King defeated L Fullerton, D Tremayne.

The NEDWBA Senior Pairs were played at the Walcha Bowling Club on Thursday and Friday 7-8 March, 2019 and there were five teams competing in this competition. Congratulations to the winners who were the Walcha pair Esta Hunt and Janice Rizzi who defeated Enid Dougherty and Carol Farr-Wharton from Armidale City in the final.
The Armidale Ex-Service’s club played host to the NEDWBA Singles Pool A on Saturday March 9, 2019 where five entries took part in this competition. E Dougherty was the Umpire and E Brunner was the controlling body for the day. Britt Camp defeated Sammi Robinson, Kerri Fittler defeated Maddi Woodward and then Kerri Fittler defeated Britt Camp in the final in a very close game 25-23 and will now play at Guyra against the Pool B group winner next Saturday March 16, 2019. Pool B Singles group to be played at Armidale City on Thursday and Friday 14-15 March, 2019.
The presentation for mixed special bowlers’ Singles were held on Friday afternoon, March 8, 2019 at the Armidale City Bowling Club. The 8 participants were all from different Armidale organisations including the Challenge Foundation, HWNS (house with no steps) and Ascent groups. The winning trophy of the singles was presented to Will Brunsdon by the CEO of ACBC, Mr Walter Sauer and this perpetual trophy will be hung over the bar in the Armidale City Club. This indeed, will be an honour for both Will and the Club as this is the first time this has been done. Merit Certificates were also presented to the runner-up, Sam Wright, third place to Greg Blanche and 4th place to Debbie McMahon. This group of special mixed bowlers who are intellectually impaired, play every Friday afternoon at ACBC coached by N Jemmeson and J Johnson. These two ladies have coached and guided this group for over 5 years and are very grateful to the ACBC for the use of the greens and bowls. Recently, one of the participants, Lucy Fullerton graduated from this group and is now playing with the lady bowlers as a full member. Nanette and Jennifer are doing a wonderful service to this group and deserve high praise for the look of enjoyment seen every week on these smiling faces.
