R Sullivan plays B Wadleigh marker R Kembrey. Sunday 16th June, 10am. Major Minor Pairs. S Froome and P Bullen play R Strahle and A Player. G Bourke and M Henderson play C Moy and T McMillan. At 11am. T Fuller and J Carey play R Clutterbuck and R Kembrey.

Saturday 22nd June, 10am. Minor Pairs Final. M Henderson and T Ogilvie play K Cundy and I Jones. Minor Triples. B Charter, K Luxford, D Dowse play F Swanson, R Sullivan, S Stubbs.

Sunday 23rd June, 10am. Minor Fours Final. B Charter, K Luxford, D Dowse, B Wadleigh play B White, G Moore, C McFayden, V Ng.

 

Armidale City Womens Bowling Club

Owing to the very inclement and cold weather conditions, no bowls were played at our club during the week.    However, we are hoping for some sunshine this week.

Games set down for Friday June 14, 2019 are the Three Bowl Pairs with Umpire TBA.  I Myhill, M Coggan versus M King, B Charter:  J  Carey, M Knight versus J Hoenger, M Macgregor.   Games set down for Tuesday June 18, 2019,  Three Bowl Pairs to continue with the winners from the 14/6/2019 to play each other.  Also to play, D O’Connell, L Halloran versus E Dougherty, M South.   Our next club meeting will be held on Friday June 14, 2019 after bowls.

A visit to the Bingara Bowling Club by invitation will be held on Tuesday June 25, 2019 and there are already 9 players going so if you wish to attend please add your team by June 18, 2019.  Travel will be by the club bus driven by M Knight.  Members are informed there will be a coaching class on June 28 by Nanette and Jenny.   A reminder our AGM will be held on Monday July 22, 2019 and your presence is required.

Last week two of our City Bowling ladies combined with two local lady bowlers from Nelson Bay for a week-long carnival and really bought home the bacon to the tune of $350.00 each.  Well done to Dos and Judy Ho who played very well and were thrilled about the win.
