The Walcha Ladies Bowling Club celebrated Emblem day on Thursday September 26, 2019 and I understand this was a most enjoyable day with 42 mixed bowlers turning up from Armidale, Uralla, Guyra, Kootingal and of course, the local players as well.  Triples was the format of the day which started off with a very welcome morning tea and after the game the bowlers tucked into a two course meal complete with delicious sweets.  Winners of the days bowls was Enid and Dennis Dougherty skipped by Margaret Macgregor.   All the City players won their games which made them all very happy and their transport was by the Club Bus driven by Enid Dougherty.

Competition results Friday September 27, 2019 the game played was the Elsie Burgess Alternating Triples and winners were:  J Swanson, L Radlingmayr, M Macgregor.  There’s that name again, Margaret is on a roll.
