ABOUT

THE CLUB AT THE HEART OF THE COMMUNITY

Established in 1914 to facilitate the development and establishment of lawn bowls, the Armidale City Bowling Club is an award winning Club with a rich heritage of success on and off the bowling green.

The Club has recently undergone a large renovation and expansion program which has provided us with facilities second to none. This progressive approach has enabled us to consistently exceed customer expectations as well as develop a reputation as an industry leader with many industry based awards over the past decade. If you would like to view the long list of industry achievement’s the Club has attained see our Industry Awards. The pinnacle of the Clubs achievement is the four ClubsNSW Club of the Year awards in 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2011. This can directly attributed to the strong commitment from Board, Management and Team Members to developing a supportive environment for community members to meet and socialise. This commitment to the Armidale community has seen the Club contribute over $1,000,000 in the last decade to developing and cultivating sporting, health and social welfare services for local community groups. Our direct adherence to a community centred vision and mission has seen the Club developed ties with over 85 community groups that utilise the Club's facilities. This community focus means that every time you spend money within the Club's premises you are contributing to the local community and ensuring that you are directly involved in the developing social, sporting and education facilities for members of the Armidale community.

For an opportunity to experience award winning service in a safe and inclusive environment introduce yourself to Armidale’s very own Club where every dollar you spend has a future.
