The Club at the Heart of the Community
Established in 1914 to facilitate the development and establishment of lawn bowls, the Armidale City Bowling Club is an award winning Club with a rich heritage of success on and off the bowling green.
The Club has recently undergone a large renovation and expansion programme which has provided us with facilities second to none.
This progressive approach has enabled us to consistently exceed customer expectations as well as develop a reputation as an industry leader with many industry based awards over the past decade. The pinnacle of the Clubs achievement is the four ClubsNSW Club of the Year awards in 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2011. This can directly attributed to the strong commitment from Board, Management and Team Members to developing a supportive environment for community members to meet and socialise.
This commitment to the Armidale community has seen the Club contribute over $1,000,000 in the last decade to developing and cultivating sporting, health and social welfare services for local community groups. Our direct adherence to a community centred vision and mission has seen the Club developed ties with over 85 community groups that utilise the Clubs facilities.
This community focus means that every time you spend money within the Clubs premise you are contributing the local community and ensuring that you are directly involved in the developing social, sporting and education facilities for members of the Armidale community.
